Videography – Karissa Gall

Videography

I studied videography under award-winning professors while enrolled in the Studio 20 program at New York University’s Arthur L. Carter Institute.

After mastering DSLR cameras and the Adobe Creative Suite, and attending a virtual reality video workshop with PBS Frontline journalists, I produced a short documentary for a website that won an Online Journalism Award.

Since then I have produced dozens of same-day turnaround videos for online news outlets across North America.

I have also produced a two-part video series for New York University’s Tandon School of Engineering, a “Promising Practices” video series for an international group of long-term care researchers, success story videos for the Social Enterprise Development Foundation of West Africa and their funding partner, USAID, and a short documentary video that was shared by the World Bank Global Platform for Social Accountability.

I am passionate about producing creative, competitively-priced videos for academics and non-profits that need to tell digital stories without paying the high cost of production agencies.
